Watching the ball drop in Times Square with my wife for our honeymoon!

Oh and I have also bookmarked www.letmegooglethatforyou.com and will be using it frequently in the future
-
I obviously I could have googled it, but I was hoping for a bit of a personal touch from the skanks ... now I'm humiliated and have spent all morning crying.

How much were tickets last year, and what dates was it ... reviews?
-
Trey's "the telephone was ringing" trill from Wolfman's would be great ...

I saw Serena Ryder at The Grad Club in Kingston tonight. It was my 7th or 8th time seeing her over the last several years, and man she sounds more incredible than ever.
http://www.myspace.com/serenaryder - go see her in Waterloo or Toronto this month ... or go see her anywhere anytime. Seriously - incredible.

Grateful Dead eh? What a stupid name ... are they new? Do they have any albums?
-
heh ... i was almost falling for it before I saw the URL.
-
Pretty much. There's some shots that I'm in... but all the promo photos that are getting used right now were taken last year.
I heard a couple of years ago that Sean got in shit for shaving his head right after all the promo shots had been taken for the upcoming album, and they all had to be re-done.
-
I'm sure he'll be in on this shortly ... but my impression is that he's not an official member of the band, but more of a full-time, salaried, employee?
-
this is fuckin amazing news ... i did the 2005 show in Kingston and it was just brilliant.
-
haha .... love it

I thought the show was pretty much perfect. Great transition from the Crazy Horse material to the acoustic stuff. Mother Earth was incredible. Unknown Legend was brilliant. His guitar tone in Hey Hey My My just about makes me go bezerk. I really enjoyed the new songs too, I thought they fit in great. Goddamn.

Serena Ryder's "is it o.k." should be on there but not sure if it qualifies for this year. You can buy it and download it but you won't get the actual disc until Feb 10-09...its true, you can't rush art.
g

What a great show! Ended up sitting right behind TimmyB, who sadly did not get Mississippi. Stuck Inside of Mobile and Hattie Carroll were my favourites, though Honest With Me and Tweedle Dee weren't far behind.
Kingston setlist:
Maggie's Farm
Lay, Lady, Lay
Things Have Changed
Spirit On The Water
Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum
Just Like A Woman
The Levee's Gonna Break
Make You Feel My Love
Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again
Ballad Of Hollis Brown
Honest With Me
The Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll
Highway 61 Revisited
Nettie Moore
Thunder On The Mountain
Like A Rolling Stone
All Along The Watchtower
the worst music i've ever heard.
