A great way to spend 4/20:
Sparticle: featuring Royston Langdon, ex-bass player and frontman of Spacehog, and Rogers Stevens, ex-guitar player of Blind Melon.
Bullmoose: featuring three fabulous fellers from Westport and/or Montreal and playing some damn good music.
R-Mistake: Some very nice lads from Ottawa playing rock n roll and singing four-part harmonies.
Rock Crew Productions presents Sparticle and Bullmoose, with special guests R-Mistake, Tuesday April 20, Elixir Nightclub - Kingston! Cover is only $6!

some zappa tunes that i would definitely include would be
The Ocean is the Ultimate Solution - Sleep Dirt
Electric Aunt Jemima - Uncle Meat
Variations on the Carlos Santana Secret Chord Progression - Shut Up N PLay Yer Guitar

the horn lineup always depends on who is available that night...
Spencer..the keyboard player, usually plays with them...if he's not available, it's a smokin young guitar player named James Taylor (no relation to THE james taylor)
they used to have a percussionist, aside from the drums and conga's...but he's not with them anymore...but the drummer, conga player, bass player and keys are the same...horns are more or less the same every gig...but again, depends on who is around

-
the DVD looks good...except for Esther...by far my least favourite phish song
-
there were definitely some cool ppl in that group (i havent been a member in two or three years)...but the organization as a whole was a bit of a farce, IMO..
I spent the Lemonwheel with a good chunk of them
-
man for a second i thought the "bitches" was the Phunky Bitches....i was a member of that group for a while...they were a messed up organization
-
I work the door at Scherzo...I'm a musician...I'm a concert promoter...I work in a deli...
-
First: YaMar - 8.14.97 (YaMar also opened my second show 12.13.97 in albany)
Last: Squirming Coil 7.6.00

hmmmmm
so many choices....I'm like Jaimoe...too many CD's for heavy rotation
The Word - have you heard how fucking SICK this is?
Tegan and Sara - This Business of Art
Beck - Midnite Vultures
Trey Anastasio - studio album
Foo Fighters - There is Nothing Left To Lose...
i don't like these lists, too much shit to leave out..

yeah dude that was a great show...which song was it with the First Tube tease??? They almost slid right in but I think Jeff decided he wanted to stay where he was...
i left after Solar Slowdown...i had to get sleep or trouble was abound...but what a GREAT song that was...my favourite of the night for sure...i'm guessing the rest of the set was pretty sick too...
