In our system of government and commerce law, silence is akin to being implicit/in agreement with the oppressive force. Not voting is not just not voting, but it's not voting for or against, which is a vote for the status quo.

Agreed: we have it pretty darn good here - but that doesn't mean that it's all that good all around. Being in agreement with a status quo that puts a value on a corrupt government (which is what the 'i'm in agreement that it's pretty good all around' here attitude turns out to be) is never a real option.

I just switched and I'm impressed.

My only computer is this HP Netbook I got from NorthernWish and his awesome partner in crime and I just checked the disk usage analyzer and I have it loaded with programs and it's using less than 7 GB for everything.

It runs quickly, does everything I want it to better than the XP Home that was on it, and looks way better. It has all of the features I miss from Mac (hot corners, better dock interfaces, clever settings and menues, etc) and the orice sure was right that's for sure.

Not that anyone should look to me for tech advice, but this is the best OS I've used on any non-apple computer.

Legislation of this sort also applies on a provincial level, as it has more to do with commerce than common law crime/harm, and while it would ultimately be dealt with on a federal level to be applied across the country this has to start somewhere.

If it's within one province then Provincial legislation applies. When it's between 2 provinces it's Federal.

If you're willing to do your homework and become responsible for yourself enough to become a free sovereign/free-man-on-the-land, then you wouldn't be held to the statutes that we have been led to perceive as laws anyhow.
