  1. Most of the hotels you will find on expedia.ca will be in mid town, and really the city is so easy to get around, there is no reason to stay there. If you stay in another part of Manhattan it will be less expensive. Your still going to pay out the nose though.

  2. My roommate just got a new toshiba and for the most part likes it. His is on the higher price range though. Really the only problem he has is with vista. That OS is always giving him problems.

    It always makes my day when his computer screws up and he gets all mad at vista. I always go up and say "do you want to use my mac?"

    Anyways the first thing I would do is get another copy of vista, one without all the stupid software they put on there. Either that or get a mac;)

  3. I just saw this on jambase.com. It looks like the boys will be taking a break intill fall 2009. Maybe Jimmy is doing a dead tour or something, but there are a lot of rumors going around right now. I guess the biggest one being, why isn't there an official release from the band. All the info I have found was on jambase and phantasytour.com.

    Widespread Panic

    On the brink of their induction into the Georgia Hall of Fame on September 20, 2008, Widespread Panic is ready to return to the road this fall. Aside from select shows, this will be fan's last chance to catch the band live until the end of 2009. The band has just enjoyed a whirlwind summer tour that included a headlining performance at Bonnaroo, their first Canadian dates in over a decade, and securing the record for the number of sold out performances at the Red Rocks Amphitheater.

    Kicking off in Austin, TX on October 10, this special string of dates includes the band's first Halloween show in New Orleans in six years. The band will also continue the tradition of their legendary New Years Eve shows, playing Denver's Pepsi Center on 12/30 and 12/31. The shows will feature special guests Yonder Mountain String Band. Fan club Mail Order begins on September 8 and the public on sale date is October 11.

    Ring in the New Year with Widespread Panic and Yonder Mountain String Band December 30th-31st at the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver, Colorado!

    On December 29th, Yonder Mountain String Band will be playing a benefit concert for Tunes For Tots at the Ogden Theater. Check out their website for full details.
