Hey ya'll... just thought id throw my 2 cents into what i believe to be the album of the year and it hasnt even been released yet... the new John Scofield disc Uberjam is sick as hell! Got a promo copy yesterday and cant stop playing it...John Medeski and Karl Densen guest on it and its out there... phunky , jammy, groovy and every track is different... wicked wicked textures... should be out in a couple of weeks or so so keep your eyes peeled for Uberjam... everyone here that I know will deffinately like it!

I know its a few days past but I just wanted to send out some big thank you's for another great weekend in Ottawa... First off to Double B for hosting a great night.. thanks again for a place to stash my pack, To Davey Boy Barrett, for not only coming through in the crunch for me with some pizza toppings but for also finishing the last wing... it had to be done!... To Indika for the very reasonable priced floorspace... dont let anyone say you charge to much for accomodations brother... To Hood for handing a guy a pillow after he took a wrong turn off the world... To Booche for that Makisupa>No Woman no cry> how many other crazy songs>back into No woman no cry... very sweet... To Ciro (sp?) for coming through in the 420 crunch (next up to BAT)... and the story of the mysterious flying bag of pot... I knew at some point we would probably get a response back from her but as insulting as she was in the first place I really find no reason whatsoever to read another piece of writing this so called journalist will produce...

Its posted up on Philzone that they will be playing 2 sets both nights... in addition the vibes will be much smaller this year with more portable toilets and warm showers available.. they do anticipate selling out well ahead of time with no tickets available at the gate... announcements for the bands should be happening soon...
