Was wondering if anybody had seen/heard these guys lately...I heard'em a while ago and liked it, then they kinda fell off the music map. They're in town here in a couple of weeks and was wondering if it was worth the 10 bucks to see'em...your thoughts....

Saw them this year at Shambala this year....rocked my socks off...if yer gonna go I recommend ear plugs unless you want yer brain oozing out'cher ears. DJ Lorin has the loudest bass I've ever heard, really not kidding. This show will be tons o'fun

I am the sous chef at North Americas highest restaurant going on 5 years...I cook kick ass food at 7700 feet all day long, then get to snowboard down the mountain at the end of the day. I only work 4-5 months at a time then get 6 paid weeks off to do whatever the hell I want. Wow, rough living in the mountains...and to think that I was gonna give all that up and move back to Ontario

Watched The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico tonight, what a GREAT movie. It's a faux documentry on Canadian country artist Guy Terrfico played by Matt Murphy (of Superfriendz and The Flashing Lights) and his rise to fame, tons of great music and cameos-Kris Kristofferson, Levon Helm, Merle Haggard, Ronnie Hawkins. Watch this movie!!

Get there early Wolfmother is opening!! They're playing the night before at Revival 783 College St. Rolling Stone magazine has just named these guys one of the top ten bands to watch this year! They wail...a cross between Sabbath and Zepplin, with that indie twist. enjoy!!

words of wisdom from past Roo's get there early!!!If the show starts at 7pm...Lewis Black won't be on till 10pm(or whatever)...don't expect to get in. It gets packed!!! We waited outside last year to see Charlie Murphy and were very lucky to get in. Also in past years we ended up saying fug it and went and checked out other activites. It worth it though...funny shite

Just running through the list of artists that will be playing at this years Coachella Festival and came across Wolfmother....REaLLy GooD!! Another band added to the list of shows I have to fit in at the fest this year. Highly recommend checking them out...They'll be playing in Toronto April 3rd @ Revival, then opening for The Flaming Lips on April 4th @ the Pheonix....enjoy
