yeah, I bought it at Futureshop...it says it is only good for win95/98 and I didn't realize that until after I tried to install it onto the computer after we did the reformat of the c drive....doh!!! Anyway, I actually found one on the internet last night and it is a good one...free!
-
no, cause we had to do a complete reformat of the c drive and so now our mcafee wont even load....it says that it won't support the new software...which is win 2000
-
I am looking for a free virus scan program. We just got Windows 2000 and it does not support our old Mcafee software and I don't want to go out and buy new stuff....is there a good one online that is free to download???

An idea....instead of boycotting Big International conglomorates such as Walmart, Esso, Blockbuster, etc etc..to name a couple....why not encourage them to change their business practices......encourage them to use more environmental and energy saving products in the building of thier stores as well as to research and promote more ecologically, sociologicaly and ethically products to sell to the public. And when they do these things, congratulate them and show your support by encouraging them to do more.....
Go into their stores, ask questions regarding their products with respect to how they are produced, where and by whom? Make suggestions to them to carry more socially responsible products, write emails, take action.
Like the old saying......you catch more bees with honey.
