  1. Jim Miller used to be in a band called 'Oroboros'. I saw Oroboros in London before they broke up. Awesome fun happy twirly tunes! They were around for about 17 years but broke up in 98 i think. Now Jim has the JiMiller Band.

I emailed Jackarow to get a copy of the show but he never got back to me. Still trying to get it. Looks superb. Anyone else heard of these guys?

  2. I Love reading kick ass reviews like that. Good job Booche. That Kesey quote is so fitting too.

Who are the people in this picture:

    happynewyear.jpg

I think I remember from the Kingston bnb Haloween show that that is Bouche on the left with the hat and red shirt. Am I right? I'd be pretty surprised if I was. Who else we got there?

  3. I'd say my best gift was, in high school my parents would go to Vegas the week of my March break, which always coincided with my B-Day. So a week long birthday party was my gift! Yee Haa!

    BTW, GM:

I have an AT-AT for sale. Missing the two chin guns. Alsewise, I think it's all there. I'm just the agent, I'll have to check with the owner about the price. I also have these in their original 1983 Kenner packages:

    Darth Vader

    Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight Outfit)

    Chewbacca

    Nikto

    Hans Solo (Bespin Outfit)

(various conidtions - ask for details)

Plus a shoot load of unpackaged figures - 40+

I'm going to put these up on ebay soon. I'm looking to make some money for the upcoming tour season. I get 20% of sales!

    make me an offer !

  4. Bonnie McSmithers You're Driving Me Dithers

(...and bithery blathery out of mind!)

-- where Bonnie tries to entertain herself and, in the process, irritates her Mom. Great stuff!

    also, the Mr. Men collection:

    Mr. Happy

    Mr. Tickle

    Mr. Forgetful

    Mr. Funny

    Mr. Lazy

    Mr. Tickle

  5. Yeah, GM and Pablo, stop you're *wishing* and make it happen. Put those plans of yours on hold til after the weekend.

As Bouche said, we want NERO! (and bnb.)

Let's really beef this thing up! Sacrifice one for the home team.

I understand though - you gotta do what you gotta do... no screw that, make it happen dudes! I'm greedy when it comes to these things. Stick around and blow our fucking minds!! shocked.gif" border="0

  6. haha,

Yeah, I fully understood why you asked. Just screwin with ya.

May 24th is the first day of Hookhaville for me too. MMW and Railroad Earth added, eh! Awesome!!

May 2-4 is the name of out holiday the weekend before your holiday. I think once it must have been on May 24th, but not as long as I can remember. It's called that now because that's how much beer we drink per day that weekend.

So what time do you guys plan on going over to ann arbor? shall we meet at your house before. around noon perhaps? Can I still get a hold of you on your cell? I'll give you a call tonight.

    peace.

  7. A truly specail night. It too was to be my last burt show until the reunion tour. This being the case, I had plans of leaving nothing on the dance floor. The comradery in the packed room could be cut with a knife.

I hadn't heard a Waves or Stop 28 in three shows so those two songs were welcomed selections. THe first set was very solid.

The second set was very jam heavy which always sits good with me. Every single note was fully appreciated.

The encore was fine. I've come to not expect too much from an encore. It's a bonus song. I was really hoping they would totally whack me with a killer 'Frankenstein' but really, they could have played 'Row Row Row Your Boat' and that would have been just fine.

It was so good to meet up with all the awesome people I do at these parties. You all make every show a special one. scottieking, nice to meet you. Good thing you resemble your avatar so closely; I would have never recognized you! hehe.

Thanks go to the boys of Paisley street who allowed their house to be turned upside down. The sun seemed to come up at about 3.30 am. Where did the night go? The hour drive back to London in the morning felt like it took 9. ugh.

Coincidently, the show I was listening to in London before we departed was the May 2-4 Ghost Town Burt show.

    Bye Bye Burties!

  8. BOTTONS:

Here's the deal, I just made one and it turned out great. A Trey Button.

I took a circular picture 2 5/8" in daimeter. It, along with a like sized plastic circle, is placed on the button shell and then those three things together are pressed onto the button back. The edges of the design are hidden so what actually is exposed is about 2 3/8". This means the design or picture would actually need to made 2 3/8" with an extra 1/4" around the edge to be tucked in around into the back of the button.

If anyone wants to design a button for themself I could do one up for you. (Not for this weekend.)

Perhaps we could get the buttons going for Ghost Town.

  9. H, thanks for compliment on the poster. Just trying to pitch in and help out a bit way down here in Chatham.

Wish I was going to be up there for this fiasco!

Maybe you could put together a name tag for me and I can print it and keep it for my next show.

btw, I have this old school button maker that, for some party in the future, I could whip up some personalized buttons on!
