  1. The Millenium Falcon was originally modeled after a hamburger with an olive next to it.

Chewbacca makes on astonishing 361 grunts, moans, or growls during all three movies. (And I still have no idea what he's saying)

Cliff (From Cheers) was in The Empire Strikes Back!

    Oh, back to the question:

are they Christopher Walken AND......... um......... was it.... Tom Selleck?

yesss! can't wait for my prize.

  2. Steve Kimock Band - 11/4/01 Abbey's Pub - Chicago.

-- in particular, the song "A New Africa". I put it on each morning and am in a rockin' mood all day long!

I suggest everybody get their hands on some recent SKB. Rodney Holmes is a maniac on drums. shocked.gif" border="0

  3. Suggestion to all students who plan on getting a summer job:

DO NOT start looking for a job until after Ghost Town. The last thing you need is a job to go to the week after Frontier Town. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do though, but I'm just sayin... better to be safe than sorry grin.gif" border="0

    Can you say 'recovery period'!?

Canned Beats, are you D.R.K.N.? If so, hey, did you find you wallet confused.gif" border="0

  4. Swell idea, Mark.

We'll all meet for a big meet and greet session. Let's say 4:20 (saloon time) on Saturday afternoon. I'll try to retain a little of my memory of names I learn for use over the rest of the weekend smile.gif" border="0

    On anther note:

Who's going to Hookahville the weekend after Frontier Town!! These two festivals back to back really make for a solid foundation for a summer of partyin and boogyin.

  5. Wish I would have made it down to London for that blast of a time.

Total different scene than the night before in Windsor. Don't get me wrong, it was a great time. Didn't get there until 11.30 or so. The place was pretty empty. It seemed as though there was a no dancing policy in effect as everyone was snuggled around tables in front of the 'stage'.

The Press Club is a great place for shows. Nice hard wood floors to dance on, kind staff, and a SPECTACULAR view of the Detorit skyline across the river.

I hadn't seen Jomamma since Frontier Town and was pleased to hear them sound as good as I 'remembered'. The second set was good and jammin' and about four people were dancing by the end of the night.

I really hope the turn out will not hinder the band's/ bar's decision to play the Press Club again. Let's hope there is a better turn out next time.

    That is all.

  6. I have an electronica buddy who is going to remix some phish for me for a whacked out listening experience. I'm going to compile a disc or two of songs of Phish and have him go nuts and do whatever he really wants with them. They might turn out to be barely distinguishable from the originals. I'll be bringing it to him in a couple of weeks or so.

I'm asking for suggestions of songs that would be ideal to remix. Perhaps a song that you would particularily like to hear remixed.

    Thanks,

    kk

  7. This was posted on Andy's page back in April. I got such a kick out of it that I printed out. I've reprinted it below. On a side note, I've been to Bong Recreation Area (Wisconsin I think.) We stayed there for a Phish show and it was funny, we were sitting around late at night having a doob when out from the bushes come two yogi's. Obviously, they were watching us 'in the act' and decided they would ambush and ruin our night. We ditched the roach which was all that was left of it. One of the Yogi's proceeded to interrogate each of the ten or so of us individually while the other scurried around on the ground picking up cigarette butts and inspecting them. Finally, feeling like total morons i reckon, they got up and told us to carry on with what we were doing and have a good night! SOOOO funny.

    Anyways, on to the bong:

It's called the Huma Bong. These folks had a plastic dome that fit in a bath tub with a large bowl fashioned to the top. Batter up: sit in your skivvies in the tub with the dome over you. Fill water up several inches. Load bowl with as much as you;re willing to consume. Hold blow torch over bowl and release water from tube. The escaping water creates a vacuum in the dome and pulls the flame into the green. As the water drains, the dome fills with fresh smoke, recycled smoke and (unfortunately) some CO2. The person can't get out until the water drains b/c the suction force holding the dome down in the tub is too great to overcome. It's not nearly lethal but it's 100% guaranteed or your money back that you ain't gonna make it three steps down the hall without a little help form your friends. Kid's don't try this at home (it's better at a friends house!)

Well, that's it folks, hope you liked my story and the bong idea i retyped. It took a long time.

  8. Hello there snelly.

I'm doing fine today. Just trying to make a dent in the pile of 150 or so discs that I need to make covers for. Slow but enjoyable process.

I'm listening to the GTB show right now. good stuff.

did you look at the rest of the moe. pics?

btw, I would eat chicken butter no matter what it came out of! well.....

Does anyone need an AT-T Walker for the holidays. I've got one. Would make for a great stocking stuffer if it wasn't 2 feet tall. (Not exactly as pictured. It has the two guns under the chin missing. Other probelems too prolly.) Let me know before I put it on ebay.
