I gotta admit that the love story was sorta hokey, and effects were a little odd and fake looking, but it was a blast to watch. I've been a spidey fan for years, and I think Tobey Maguire did a good job. Willem Dafoe was wicked. His facial expressions lend themselves wonderfully to a super villain like the green goblin.
