Woolner Posted March 28, 2003 Report Share Posted March 28, 2003 Anyone attend last night's Godspeed You Black Emperor concert at the Palais Royale? It's in my top 3 for best shows I've ever been to. They're playing again tonight. It's sold out, but there were a lot of people selling tickets for face value outside the venue last night. I cant believe these guys. Rob Not Bob Posted March 28, 2003 Report Share Posted March 28, 2003 Kind of vaguely like King Crimson, in a weird way ... bits of audio samples, massed guitars and strings starting very quietly, slowly building up until it reaches an explosive frenzy, and then calming back down again. Most intense music I've ever heard. If anyone want's some discs of theirs I'll gladly b+p some cds.
