bONES Posted March 30, 2003 Report Share Posted March 30, 2003 so Vinyl are the big 4.20 shows here on the west coast.... who's making these gigs?? one in Van & two in Whistler i've never experienced a Vinyl show before so i'm lookin' to y'all fer-yer 2cents every upstream show i've made it to has been wicked, and they did back up Phil in SF one show! next thought...where to stay in Whistler? last time i was there (a couple years ago) for SCI, earthfreak & I stayed in my campervan and got extremely (near death) sick!! those were great shows though carpool anyone? Here's a song from them as well. Vinyl : Funk in 5/4 Just got back from one of the greatest Upstream gigs EVER! Soundtribe Sector 9 may have just become my favorite band! The shows in Vancouver and Whistler were the best live concert experiences I've had since Pine Knob 91'. I'm still reeling from those... (and the EPIC Slammin Jack/Themasses blender last night) WOW Vinyl is a 7 piece funk band with horns. They put on a good show - I saw them a few years ago at the Starfish Room.
