Barefootcombines a unique blend of musical genres into their sound. Their live show intends to provoke thought, emotion and send positive energy throughout the audience. Heather Kelday(singer/songwriter-guitar) regularly uses 8 different tunings that she can readily change between while utilizing a delay pedal to create ambient sounds, and leads with soft melodic to strong wailing vocals. Paul Cressman(upright Bass, Electric Bass) plays the bass both plucked and bowed for sweet acoustic undertones, and funks it up on the electric bass. Jess Clemons (Keyboard) stays true to the tune of a jazz piano and makes smooth transitions into organ and vibes while singing warm harmonies. Aaron Mangle (Drums/Percussion) experiments with many different sounds and beats and contributes a tight rhythmic dynamic to the music.
