Freeker
Here's the deal I just scored a ticket to Herbie and a ticket for Bela for the combined price of 20 bucks!! The best part is , this deal is available to everyone, except old people like Booche. here's the details. ------------------------------------------------ TD Canada Trust Avant Groove Program A new incentive program for music lovers aged 15 – 28. Register for the TD Canada Trust Avant Groove Program and receive an Avant Groove card which will allow the card holder to purchase a ticket plus a ticket for one guest to any of the concerts in Confederation Park at only $10.00 each. To register for the TD Canada Trust Avant Groove Program in advance, please come to the Ottawa International Jazz Festival Office at 61A York Street in the Byward Market to pick up your pass at no charge. You may also register for the TD Canada Trust Avant Groove Program at the Sales Centre in Confederation Park during the festival. Once you have your pass, you will be able to purchase your tickets at the OIJF Office, Rideau Centre Kiosk (in front of the Disney Store), and the Sales Centre in Confederation Park during the festival. You will not be able to use the pass through Ticketmaster or any other vendor outlet and the pass does not replace the student pass. Individual Performance Tickets Tickets can easily be purchased online through Ticketmaster or by calling the Festival Box Office at (613) 241-2633 and quoting the Ticket Code listed below: ------------------------------------------------- So that's it, all you have to do is go down to the Office in the Market (Right next to Mother Tuckers) show your ID and get some cheap tickets. The guest pass is a good deal too, it's great for buying cheap tickets for the elderly....like Booche. (j/k)

Freeker
Naw old dude, all you need is someone to buy tickets for you between the age of 15-28. Thats what the guest pass is all about. I got room on my pass for one more Herbie, but I'm used up my guest pass already for Bela.

ollie
Maybe I can work out a beer-for-jazzfest-tickets trade with some underage kids.
Jakis
Before work tomorrow I am gonna stop by that place and pick up a membership. I will have room for a guestpass for Herbie cause I know none of my friends will want to go. So if someone only wants to spend 10 bucks post and we can arrange to meet to buy the tickets. I work till 7:30 at the general hospital tomorrow night so was gonna head down after work.
