I hate it when stuff is released in the States or elsewhere before Canada. Neil Young's film "Greendale" was finally released in Canada this Tuesday (July 27), while it has been avaliable in the States for weeks.

I saw the "Greendale" concert three times and loved it. I also saw the film premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall. At the premiere Neil Young was there with Pegi. Also in attendance was Elliot Roberts, Frank "Poncho" Sampedro and Billy Talbot as Crazy Horse had performed a show at the Air Canada Centre the night before. As Neil was doing a Q&A I said from the audience "Great film, Neil!" and he replied "Hey, thanks." And as Neil Young films go, "Journey Through The Past" and "Human Highway," "Greendale" makes the most sense and is a fun film to watch because it's none stop music. Plus the messages in the film are great too.
