Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 i just got an email from a potential employer, including the 2nd round application form.. but stupid outlook express removed the attachment because it was 'potentially dangerous.' is there any way to recover this attachment? i already re-requested the form, but.. well.. anyone? PalacePrincess Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 i have outlook express & this used to happen to me too. you have to change your security settings. go to tools->options->security there should be a box near the top that is checked off that says "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" UN-check that box & hit apply. i doubt you can retrieve the original sent attachment (it would have bounced back to the sender), but if you ask them to send again it should go through. hope this helps.
