Cully Posted October 28, 2004 Report Share Posted October 28, 2004 Last night during new music night at the Horseshoe Tavern, Tony Furtado played a 30 min set that was absolutely smoking. It was a shame that he only played such a short set, but his band was tight, and he played lightning-fast blues slide guitar like nobody's business!!! The band that played after him was also great (alt country with amazing harmonies and haunting melodies) The mandolin player was Levon Helms daughter!! I am sorry, I don't know the Bands name.... MuleMomma Posted October 28, 2004 Report Share Posted October 28, 2004 I believe that the band after Tony was called Ollabelle...or at least that's what the sandwich board outside said...and yeah, I had forgotten how wonderful Tony Furtado was since the Comfort Zone show 4 years ago.
