I also got nabbed outside of Brockville on my way to Ottawa in the middle of the night doing 160 (and I think the ticketed speed was dropped to the point of no demerit points)...unfortunately, I just put in an application to work at a company where a clean driver's abstract is a necessity...guess I'm screwed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd rather pay for a toll road with no limits than be randomly taxed by armed men and women in the night. YES. I was speeding. Yes. This is illegal. NO. I DO NOT AGREE WITH IT!!!! As far as I'm concerned police should be called, not hiding in wait for someone possibly doing something as socially unnacceptable as speeding. Sorry I hurt your feelings by trying to fnd the best way out of a sh!tty situation. But did you read what the thread was about. The ticket is frustrating enough without somebody telling me that I should suck it up. I'm not crying. I'm not upset. I would just rather not have to spend a bunch of money on insurance so I was asking for advice to avoid this from happening. Got any suggestions? Didn't think so.
