Ok, someone on here linked to EGullet and I fear I may lose my job because of it. From reading about Knife Sharpening, How to roast a 100 pound pig and top ten types of Roux I am in trouble.

You have to write a mini-essay explaining why you love food so much in order to get posting priveleges. But this place is a gold mine of information that true food nerds will blow a load in their terrine over.
