Jaimoe
They should hit the stage at 01:25 or so. They always play well on Conan.
Jaimoe
They were excellent. Jambands never fare too well on late night talk shows, but the Mule never seems to disappoint. " Lola Leave Your Light On " was a good choice.
PassedOutGuy
hey glad you enjoyed it Jaimoe... I on the other hand didnt take that much away from that performance... i thought it was kinda slow at times and the keys were way down in the mix so it left the song with kind of an open or something missing feeling... not saying that I dont love Govt Mule I just think they waited a little too long to get to the jam when Warren finally let loose and then kinda ran outta time... great to seee them on TV anyways... Jaimoe
Hey POG, I think the Mule were excellent in a late night show context. Obviously they performed the song in a safer than ususal way. Still, I liked this performace better than their last Conan one - Bad Little Doggie from the summer. They play that song similar every time no matter the setting.
ollie
Replay is on CNBC right now! And Conan's band just played the 2001 theme out of the monologue.
