Esau
Just noticed on Larry's site he's left Dylan's band... Larry will no longer be touring with Bob Dylan. He will be pursuing other projects, and he wishes Bob and the band the best. http://members.cox.net/larrycampbell2000/ I haven't read anything at the usual places about who may replace Larry yet and new tour dates keep getting annouced.I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that this may mean Bob might play a few tunes again on guitar.Still waiting to see where he'll play between Boston (04/15 - 04/17) and Connecticut (04/22),really hoping theres going to be some Canadian dates appear in that gap but have a feeling we'll see a late summer date.Anyone else (TimmyB, I'm looking in your direction) heard anything about Larry's departure (his site doesn't explain much) or who may be replacing him? ::

StoneMtn
[color:"purple"] Well, he may have stopped playing with Bob, but at least Larry Campbell continues in his other job as mayor of Vancouver...
TimmyB
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm very sad Esau, to me Larry Campbell was by far the best musician on stage with Bob Dylan and had hoped he would never leave Dylan's band. Do diversified playing everything from electric and acoustic guitars, String Bender guitars, lap and pedal steels, mandolins, banjos, and on and on. I will miss him when I see Dylan again to be sure.
