(Toronto, ON) – After a brief winter hiatus the Chameleon Project (CP) returns with a new 12” vinyl release on Reptile Vision Records (RVR). To kick off their return to the stage the Project is booked to perform a special vinyl release event at the El Mocambo, in downtown Toronto on Friday April 15th. Doors open at 9pm with support from local breaks trio Nautilus, jam-band Jomomma and DJ Syrum spinning drum & bass, breaks and IDM in the urban Lounge. CP hits the stage at midnight The 12” vinyl release (RVR-008) is the first for the newly founded label, Reptile Vision Records. Reptile Vision was founded to release all past and future CP recordings, and to foster the development of live electronica, and intelligent dance music of all stripes. RVR and The Chameleon Project will also be represented at the Winter Music conference (WMC) in Miami, where the label will make it’s official US debut and begin distribution. Then hot on the heels of the WMC the Project will return to Toronto, for it’s long awaited live performance, and hometown vinyl launch at the El Mocambo on April 15th. This will be the first in a series of shows for what is shaping up to be a busy spring/summer for the Chameleon Project.
