Basher
Just wondering if anyone that went last night could share the experience.
dimafleck: the living legend.
i really didn't enjoy it at all.left after about an hour.imo, aside from the fact that they can play their instruments really well, and sound tight together..they are just the most typical american "jamband" minus everything that could make a band like that special or good.to me, it was like RAQ (another very typical small american jamband) ...minus the good.ouch...that was harsh....sorry. phunkyb
I only lasted about 1 hour. I agree with dimafleck, you basic "american jamband".They were tight and the guitarist was good but nothing too special. Very small crowd. Before I left I counted 32 people in Lee's. Rossolee
My only complaint was the sound guy had the volume rammed passed 11 and the mix was pretty muddy. I like them... guitar player is damn good, shreds like nobodys business) Songwriting still needs a little work. They reminded me of Seth Yacavone meets Frank Zappa...Looks like both Raq and The Breakfast are playing at this years moe.down. Although Raq has played before???...http://www.raqmusic.com/tourdates.htmlhttp://www.thebreakfast.net/tour.php
