Preview new Coldplay album here

Coldplay, the band I should hate but can't, is releasing a new album later this week, however the good people at MTVAsia have posted all the songs from X&Y online for streaming.

I can almost hear the hippies screaming profanities in unison that I dared post something about Coldplay. Especially Del.

They write good mid-tempo tunes that aren't brainless or generic. However, that's all they write.

It all sounds the same so far... Mid-tempo epic songs. I bet you they will be great live, but the album as a whole is pretty underwhelming.

i like coldplay... and the more i hear them, the more i like them. i'm at work so i can't listen to that album link, but i really like that new song that's being played all over the radio right now.... even if it sounds like everything else they do.

they are one of the bands that very positively impressed me when i saw them live. they are quite talented and chris martin is a smart cookie with a very bratty sense of humour. he's freakin' cute too.

I really like Coldplay, especially the first album. It's so mellow and some days, it's just the perfect vibe. I won't rush out to buy the new disc, but I certainly enjoy the couple I already have.
