phorbesie Posted July 8, 2005 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 good times all around! great festival, tons of awesome music, perfect weather, fun city to hang out in. it was nice to meet you blane, but i blame you for my hangover on wednesday! highlights for me: bobby mcferrin..he had this woman jamming with him who was also amazing..don't know her name though, doh! bill frisell quintet.. best show i saw. amazing from start to finish. beautiful 'hard rain' to close the set. mmw and ribot..good stuff, enjoyed seeing them together ba cissoko...awesome senegalese band i don't know much about, but will be buying their music asap. happy house..late night tiny bar music and horns with beats, lots of fun. and now for bluesfest....
