UNCUT - Uncut often recalls the last two eras where rock drew renewed energy from a dalliance with dance music: The disco-fed post-punk heyday bookended by Joy Division and New Order mixed with the ecstatic sprawl of tech-savvy, post-rave British guitar rock. UNCUT are from Toronto & they are the future of rock music. Combining the primal throb of Joy Div & Tubeway w/ the futuristic glide of the Space Shuttle.

SYLVIE - although the band consists of the generic two guitars, bass and drums; listeners and witnesses to their live show are exposed an experience altogether new. Their ability to layer individual sounds to create the single idea of a song has been capturing audiences wherever they play. Sylvie's members include singer/guitarist Joel Passmore, bass player Riva Farrell Racette, guitarist Chris Notenboom, and drummer Jeff Romanyk. Passmore, Racette, and Nottenboom have been playing together for six years. Sylvie has played with such notables as Death From Above 1979, the Smugglers, Hot Hot Heat, and the Constantines.
