I have a song on a mix cd that I need to know the name of....

It sounds like Jim Guthrie or some similar nasal 'indie' artist... Acoustic guitar, strings, drums

Some of the lyrics are 'a forest needs a fire like a fire needs a tree' and 'a thief needs a diamond like the diamond needs the thief, it's so dear and personal to me...' 'and if i ever get back home' 'whenever the first leaf falls, it falls for you'
