M.O.B.E Posted September 13, 2005 Report Share Posted September 13, 2005 my daughter got her 15 month checkup today and got 2 needles prevnar and varivax; varivax is the chicken pox virus however they provide no other information about it...does anyone know anything about this stuff had any experience with it?? I got because the US govt said I had toin order get my greencard even though I already had chicken pox and it made me so sick but i dont know what it might do to her? It is used as a preservative in some vaccinations, but is rumoured to cause mercury toxicity. I know Mothering magazine had an issue that dealt with vaccinations within the past year. No way can I afford to take 2 weeks plus off work and in my state the pox will probably kill me. I see it now.
