Guest Low Roller Posted October 5, 2005 Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 All I know is that I find it hard to support a team called the f'n Seagulls.I know nothing about Maradona.I knew about the plans for a new stadium however. Essentially duplicate the Corel Centre scenario. Beautiful middle of nowhere countryside to be razed for a world class stadium. It's been an ongoing debate here forever. I know that the Seagulls are fairly poor. So poor in fact that it's not the Brighton Seagulls, but it's the Brighton Hove Albion Seagulls. Yes, it's three towns crammed together into one footy team.One of these days I may go check out a game, but for now I can't even be bothered to go to the crappy current "stadium".
