can-o-phish Posted October 31, 2005 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 Well, today I officially became "The Boss-Man" and had to be the "bad guy"...not a great feeling to have to come down hard on someone but it had to be done as we're running a business...but really sucked that it is a friend who put me in this position... When you post about Monday blues it could mean something bad about the Sisters!Congrats on being the boss man. We strive for these management positions but they are both a blessing and a curse. I hate having to discipline or terminate people, it's sure not easy and I get tummy aches when I have to do it. But it's my experience that taking action like that gives you respect from the other people that you work with. They're happy that the people who aren't performing aren't able to take advantage of the team and they also work a bit harder so that it doesn't happen to them.I'm sure you'll find that it's for the best.
