MUZO in London TONIGHT!

PIRATE

Recommended Posts

I feel the need to send some encouragement out to these young guys this morning. Last night's show was a better than average excuse to drink in L-town last night. I love what the Salt Lounge has done with the stage in the back part now. Good move!

As for the band, at times they reminded me of Nero, at times Phish, at times Umphrey's (alot!) with the only problem being I struggled to find "them". Despite their manager's constant insistence to me that there was nothing like this, I feel the opposite. Everything is like this. The covers were very clever but originals need a voice of their own with just a tad less self indulgence and greater focus on geling with the crowd. Props to the guys as they looked like they were having a blast (bass player especially). I will be curious to see if they can take obvious talent and turn it into something special in a few years. I'll check in then.
