You don't know the song Soft Machine? phorbesie, do yourself a favour and find a version immediately... It is an amazing song, always enjoyable when you see it at a show... guigsy Posted November 8, 2005 Report Share Posted November 8, 2005 ok what are the lyrics guigs? i dunno this song.but i like the canterbury school of rock. heheh.. sorry, heather... yeah, those lyrics del posted arent what he's singin' these days.. i dont know all of them... he changed some things up, maybe added a verse or 2.. i dunno, i like the way it was before when the lyrics were more of another instrument, rather than a central part of the song - that said, though, sonically, they've taken that song to a whole new level.. this is the show i was listening to - it opens it up in a big way! guigsy Posted November 8, 2005 Report Share Posted November 8, 2005 yeah - i'd actually like to know all of what the new lyrics are... i dunno, something just rubs me the wrong way about them... im not one to ever knock rhyming in a song, i really dont care how people wanna get their point across, either its gonna sound good or its not, but this almost seems excessively silly... i recall too many "een" endings... i dunno... who am i to judge? i dont write shit.the song is still badass - i just wish he used less lyrics and let the song speak for itself.
