bouche Posted December 15, 2005 Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 There's a new trailer up on apple's quicktime site for The Da Vinci CodeI'm just finishing the illustrated hardcover and I'm pretty sure that it'll be the first time that I've read a book and then saw the movie within a reasonable interval. I did read HGTTG, but that was in grade 9. I used to just watch the movies in Highschool instead of reading the books (a handmaid's tale for instance) and I had to ask people who read the book and saw the movie to tell me what was different because our teacher would give us an essay based on things that were not in the book. Mr. Photogeek Posted December 16, 2005 Report Share Posted December 16, 2005 How did you like the book?? I didn't really dig it all that much (maybe the hype really got to me...) I did like the fact that it made me look at da Vinci's art in a completely different way though. That being said I think it could make a really could movie...the frantic pace is perfect for the movie screen. Tom Hanks looks pretty good as well.
