Dr_Evil_Mouse Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 I suppose, though when I saw the clip running on the news yesterday, I had to cringe when the first words out of his mouth when getting off the plane were something like "What a desolate place." Ok, maybe it's a little deforested, bombs have been raining on it for decades, and so on, but as an opening comment about a country you're there to serve in some sort of friendly capacity, is that the first thing you want to say about the place? I mean, it can't be that much different from Sudbury, right, and you wouldn't expect him to say the same sort of thing every time he rolls into town there (or, then again, maybe he would).
