The UN was BY FAR the closest thing the world has yet had in terms of a global stage on which disputes could rationally and peacefully be carried out. The US has shown no faith in the system, has withheld their share of the opperating expenses, hold the most powerful unilateral position in the organization, have infected the IMF and WHO with American style decision making, ignored the practical advice given to them from the REST OF THE WORLD on the debate floor, and blissfully carried on illegal war after illegal war, and on top of all that, they want to blackmail the UN to give them more power?
