bradm
If you're out and about in the Byward Market tonight (Wednesday, Aug. 16) in Ottawa, Souljazz Orchestra is playing in the courtyard (where The Black Tomato, The Courtyard Restaurant, etc., have their patios). As near as I can tell, it's free, and it's supposed to be a 7pm (prompt) start, running to 10pm (my guess is they'll do three sets). Given the amazing weather we have today, the selection of patios that are available, and the lack of a cover charge, this could be a really fun night. I'm planning on being there for the whole thing; look for the tall guy with the beard, standing next to the microphone stand. Aloha, Brad

I think there is a timothys coffee shop there..and they have the Best Coconut Roasted Coffee you will ever taste.. Unless you have tasted better of course. But try it out...You'll Love IT!!! bradm
Even better, The Black Tomato (from whose patio you'll be able to see SJO) usually/often has the Sgt. Major IPA from Scotch-Irish Brewing on tap, and it's one of my favourite beers right now.Aloha,Brad
