StoneMtn
These guys were mind-blowing at Bonfire. They remind me of Mr. Bungle, and I really think these guys actually have serious commercial potential.Check 'em out. nattyMatty
I Like'em so far.. I listen to the two tracks on there web site.. I think i could be thurougly entertained by these guys... Im a big fan of keyboards and High energy toons. Nice sound effects too. In my opinion, For what its worth, They Are worth a Listen. When are They coming to Ontario?-nattyMatty
StoneMtn
No idea what their plans are. They are some guys from Duran Duran Duran, Slow Nerve Action, and Blue Quarter. They are amazing to watch, and Chris Berry (vocals) alone is a true showman.I truly think these guys could be all over MTV and the next commercial success (despite how good they actually are). bradm
No idea what their plans are.According to a posting on jamhub, they'll be out East the second week of November, and in Ontario the third week of November (with the exact dates to be announced).Aloha,Brad

I havn't seen blue quarter yet. I herd a few tracks from them and I Really Dig Blue quarter. Duran Duran Duran.. hehrehere Are they a Duran Duran cover band? Thats cool.... I looked at Jackfruits Tour schedule. Doesn't look like they will be out here by the looks of there schedule.
StoneMtn
If Brad's correct, I'll be at those shows, for sure.Duran Duran Duran was a "fun band" that played a lot of Tenacious D and Ween. Of course, the name implies something very different, which is why I never went to see them and only found out after they disbanded that I would have loved them. Poor choice of names for sure. StoneMtn
My grandfather is from Jamaica, and I recall him talking about jackfruit from when he was a child.I asked him about it today. He said:"It has a strange smell, but the fruit inside is very sweet."This band chose a perfect name for themselves. Very accurate description. StoneMtn
I don't know where anything is up there, but my mother moved to Muskoka since I left Ontario, so I'm planning to spend more time north of the city. That totally rocks that you spend time out there.By the way, am I right that Muskoka and Collingwood are somewhere in the same vicinity? (At least within an hour of each other?) nattyMatty
No Muskoka is more then an hour away... Im not sure but somthings telling me its more of the lines like 4-5 hours north. I think becuase ya have to go around the bay. Do a Google map search. Also there might be snow by then around there too.

boiler
It's actually pretty busy at Blue Mountain this time of year. There's a golf course there, a pretty cool (but expensive) zip line, mountain biking etc. They have all kinds of shows there, I read on a flyer that Truth and Rights already played out there this summer. StoneMtn
Hmmmm. Two hours from my mom's place really isn't too bad. No different than seeing Vancouver shows and driving back up here. It's not exactly around the corner, but I expect I'll be acquainting myself with Collingwood soon; perhaps for Jackfruit. (Besides, I imagine I'll feel right at home in an Intrawest Village...)
