guigsy
things are lookin' pretty serious down there. contested election and whatnot. i found this page while googling - all the articles i read seemed pretty one sided, though i didnt read all the articles, or writers even. anyways, it's a start if you're curious... meggo
definitely an interesting situation huh!i do feel for obrador. last i read he was getting a recount in 9% of the contested polling stations - pretty slim. and with the tiny, tiny margin that he lost by, i think he deserves more than that. on the positive side, this was mexico's second consecutive more or less peaceful election, with the PRI still not making a comeback. not perfect yet, but i'd say they're on the right track. Blane
There's definately a lot of backlash right now. I'm presenting at a conference in Ciudad Juarez in a few weeks so I hope that things settle down a bit by then!
