I guess when you're an Idealistic Empire, you head to the Mideast and Duke it out. Strategically though with the geography... it's impossible to protect all the differnt flanks over the great and diverse region... and every empire is at the mercy of the next great conquror... easy to to win... tough to stay... I'm glad it's a signal of the end of American dominance in global power... one day, and it'll be soon, they will retreat and it'll happen all over again... hopefully people will learn to be happy where they are and happy others have some place to be happy too.
