bradm
Tonight (Thursday, Oct. 19), James McKenty And The Spades along with Matthew Barber & The Union Dues are at Zaphod Beeblebrox in Ottawa. As far as I know, The Spades are on first, and since it's a Zaphod show, it'll probably start early, like 9:00pm or 9:30pm; I plan on getting there by about 8:00pm to get set up. Who else is in?Aloha,Brad Edited October 20, 2006 by Guest Change "Tonight" to "Thursday" in subject.

bradm
Here's the set list from last night:Please Stand ByUltrasound 2In The MoviesThe Great AsteroidVampire Blues[1] >The ProtesterOn My MindThe Rising Songs >49 Tons Of Diesel Locomotive[2][1] Neil Young cover.[2] Fred Eaglesmith cover. It was a short set (less than 40 minutes), but I liked it a lot. "The Protester" was the fastest I'd ever heard it played, and "Please Stand By" was one of the better versions I've heard.I'll be processing the recording tonight.Aloha,Brad
