Mr. Photogeek
what's the best deal for an iPod these days?I think the day is approaching where I'll have to nab one. Any tips?I'm looking at getting one soon as well...mostly prices tend to stay similar from establishment to establishment (right now Bestbuy has a sale of them on...$10 off [color:purple]wow!), I'm assuming it has something to do with... #1-the popularity of the product and #2-being an Apple reseller has a lot of rules...one of them being prices staying consistant. You can usually get the last generation for cheaper as well (ie 4th generation ipods are selling for less since the introduction of the 5th generation ipods). So if having the newest/biggest isn't an issue you can go that way. Refurbished units is another way to go, but you have to be careful of the generation as there were battery problems with the first generation.I have done a little research and found this site to be helpful as well for hardware/software that relates to the ipod: http://www.ilounge.com/
