Some of this looks good - I like the group with Nilan Perera in it but dislike that Scott Thomson's in it.

Peter Van Huffel is a monster player. I played with him when he was maybe 14 or 15 years old and he was a total prodigy.

I urge you all to check some of this out over the next couple of days.

Scott's a good player he just wrangles his way into so many contexts in Guelph he's sort of ubiquitous.

I'm not sure people know Nilan Perera - he was in a group called Handslang years ago and plays in a lot of contexts. I saw him at Earl Bails years ago play the Zappa part in a sanctioned Zappa tribute night (the Green Rosetta stands out). It was one of those weird one offs you hear about on the radio and it was in this ampitheatre on a nice summer night. Awesome. He does some neat stuff with a scanner that he sort of keeps hidden at his side so you're not sure what's going on.
