Ya thats the Little Feat song.

Willin'

As originally performed by Little Feat

I've been warped by the rain, driven by the snow

Drunk and dirty, don't you know, and I'm still...willin'.

And I was out on the road, late at night,

Seen my pretty Alice, in every headlight...Alice.

Dallas Alice.

And I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari,

Tahachapi to Tournapaw.

I've driven every kind of rig that's ever been made.

Driven the backroads so I wouldn't get weighed.

And if you give me...

Weed, whites and wine.

And you show me a sign.

I'll be willin', to be movin'

Kicked by the wind, dropped by the sleet,

Had my head stove in, but I'm still on my feet, and I'm still,

In a whole lot of trouble.

Smuggled some smokes, some folks from Mexico,

Baked by the sun, every time I go to Mexico

And I'm still...

And I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari,

Tahachapi to Tournapaw.

I've driven every kind of rig that's ever been made.

Driven the backroads so I wouldn't get weighed.

And if you give me...

Weed, whites and wine.

And you show me a sign.

I'll be willin', to be movin'

The Fat Cats (a local band) has done the best non-Feat version i've ever heard. Its absolutely beautiful.

Thanks Tube.

Have you heard the WSP version? It's a beauty. I feel chumped... you stumped me... BASTARD!!! hehehehe. It's all good... my hat goes off to you my well versed friend. You must be one of the FEW old-skoolers in here... along with Esau, Bong, myself, and a few others that show their stripes!!! First jamsperience? Dead... Laguna Seca Raceway... Monterey, California... Summer of '88. A couple of friends and I were recently discussing our best Dead show experiences, and it appears almost every person had theirs around their 7th or 8th show... as I guess it took all of us that many shows to get over the grandiose and INTENSITY of a Dead show experience before you learn to relax, LET GO, and enjoy the travel to another world!!! Best set of shows for me? Cal Expo Amphitheatre... Sacramento, California... August '89... first time I absolutely LOST MY SHIT and enjoyed every minute of it!!!! Day 2... set 2... Hey Pockey Way>Playin>Uncle John's>Terrapin (shit lost now!!!)>Peter & the Wolf (instead of space)>Drums>Standing on the Moon... then it all turns into a blur... but I know there was a US Blues encore. You East coasters were so spoiled having so many shows so close to one another... but there ain't nothin' like a California Dead show... touche!!!

Ahhhhhh... the good ole' days.
