Ms.Huxtable
Cool thanks for posting that. Hux played some Buffett the last time I was on his sail boat (I love Hux for his cheese - we had 3 varieties, shropshire, brie and some mustard seed cheddar?) Anyway back to Buffett, it just felt like the right music for being in the sunshine, on the water and chugging back beers. It was a Tuesday but it sure felt like the weekend. can-o-phish
Ahhh, you made the "connection" as Buffett styled himself towards a "Caribbean/Tradewinds" sound from way back during his New Orleans/Key West days...and it's hard to find a "true sailor" that doesn't have the classics such as A1A, Son of a Sailor, Changes In Latitudes, etc... Buffett has shared the stage with Phish, covered their "Gumbo" tune, plays Scarlet Begonias at many of his concerts and covered "Uncle John's Band"...there's a helluva lot more to Jimmy than "Margaritaville" which is not his best tune by any stretch... Glad you enjoyed the post S.
