tigger
What ever you two are the worst at phone manners ever.Didn't see you at the Keller show or the show at Darien Sunday.
captainsunshine
We weren't there!! We were at Gathering of the Vibes for when Keller played in Buffalo, and we didn't end up going to the Darien show because of sickness/tiredness from the crazy trip to see Rich! Jaimoe
Seen them four times. Met them all twice. They only have one good album, and that was their first all-covers near masterpiece. Unless they return to form, I'm going Galactic on them and will never see them again.
captainsunshine
I've racked my brain to try to think if I've seen them at a festival or something, and if I have, then I just don't remember.. I've heard some of their live stuff, and it's not something I love, but I figured I'd give them a try for free (I never really know if I like a band until I see them live).. Hopefully the weather improves or something. I don't feel like standing in the rain yet again!
Jaimoe
When "Shake Hands With Shorty" dropped in 2000, I was immediately hooked. The Allstars blended country and North Mississippi electric Delta blues with the bluesy side of The Allman Brothers. They covered North Mississippi regional legends like Junior Kimbrough, Mississippi Fred McDowell and R.L. Burnside. And then they tried writing their songs and listened too much to their famous father. I also think Luther can't pull off rock-styled vocals. He's much better suited with dirty blues.
