Interlocking Bricks

So my walk is made with interlocking bricks.

My problem is some of them have lifted in places which makes it a bit dangerous.

Can I take the ones out that are a problem and lay them back down in place without doing the whole walk?

Shouldn't be too much of a problem depending on the size of the area affected... there should be a layer of chip-rock underneath that you can scoop some out off with the brick(s) removed... just make sure if you are taking out a bunch of bricks to lay them down in a way that you'll remember how they go when you put them back in and it should be fine.

The ground underneath has changed due to the thaw... this year should be extra bad if the state of the roads have been any indication.

Thanks.Its not that big of an area.Its like 3 or 4 bricks in 3 different areas.

Yea, pretty simple procedure just make sure shes nice and compact when you put it back in, Get a nice rubber malllet to pound it banck down once you re-lay it or i might sink once the water gets on it and makes it settle,

If you don't have a rubber mallot grab a piece of 2x6 put it over top of the brick and smack it good with a hammer just don't hit the bring with that steel hammer.
