Basher
Don't know how many of you Toronto folk listen to the Fan590 on your morning commute, but I was saddened this morning to hear the news break about Dave Steinhart's death yesterday. He did the "Money Game" segment each morning at 6:35 and 8:35, and I always looked forward to his take on the business world, and the business of sports. He was only 43 years old, and his wife was 7 months pregnant with their first child. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Kanada Kev
Whoa! Where did that come from? What happened to him? Sad

Hal Johnson
The fan, particularily Gord and Don, have had really bad luck with this over the years. First it Pat Marsden (who had lung cancer) then it was another one of their show's staff who's girlfriend was murdered and that was all over the news too. Jaimoe
Marsden's death wasn't a shocker given his tremendous smoking habit and his weight and age. I still miss the old codger though. I didn't really like Jim "Shaky" Hunt but his dislike of McCown made for a good show. As for Steinhart, I see on the Fan's website that donations can be made out to the Canadian Diabetes Association. If Steinhart had diabetes, then his sad passing is more than likely related.
