Electric Gypsyland is a global dance party dedicated to the infectious grooves of Gypsy Funk, Dub & Electronica. The night features the Canadian debut of dunkelbunt, one of Europe's hottest DJs. A gifted piano player and electronica producer, he moves seamlessly between dub reggae, klezmer, jazz, trip hop & breakbeat. Joining in on the eclectic melange is one of Canada's finest global fusion DJs, medicineman, who has been spreading his healing dose to a loyal radio audience on CIUT 89.5 FM for a decade. Plus, the Funkabelly All-Stars will shimmy it all up a notch with their sassy bellydance moves, while Toronto crew Beatmap lay down their bassy, rhythmic vibe.
