The Chameleon
Great snaps! I was in buffalo yesterday coming back from the Little Feat show in Rochester and I overheard many disgruntled fans saying that the show was very poorly played and disappointing and seemed badly rehearsed.Any thoughts on that? Kanada Kev
If there's one thing I learned going to 50+ GD shows is that there are always a bunch who hated it, many who loved it, and tons who don't even remember it I had a wonderful time at the show and thought that they did a great job. There were a few times where it was a little sloppy, but it's the Dead! WTF do people expect? Bobby to remember lyrics or something For me, being up close and seeing some of the interaction between the boys was priceless. Billy and Mickey are so much better as one beast than separated. I'm ready to hit some more shows if they do hit the road again. Would be nice to see Hornsby brought back in the fold if he was interested. The Chameleon
Good to hear. I agree with you. I have seen the Grateful Dead about 25 times and probably 7 of them were questionable. But I always realized the Dead were not about perfection but rather improvisation and taking chances in the moment. And even at those questionable shows I had a great time.Glad to hear it from someone who was there.
tigger
Awesome time in our group, but thinking the Dead are perfect is like saying you can believe anything Trey says.
