Old Sheller
great thread! I'm trying to learn more about recording as well. My band has been recording our practices for a while now, playing around with mic placements. We originally just used two condenser mics in the room and we able to come up with a decent soundhttp://www.box.net/shared/qrs2m4kxptBut this method gave little control after the fact.. it was all mic placement. We've now go four mics to use but we're still figuring out where to place them.http://www.box.net/shared/0omch097lyOur gear isn't that great though. We're actually using two laptops both set up with a Line 6 toneport UX2. So two tracks on each machine. Ideally I'd like to get something like the Firepod which will make my life a lot easier. Do those of you that have the firepod recommend it? Edited December 3, 2008 by Guest
